Summary: Logan thinks on how no matter who he encounters she knows him best.

He loved her.

There was no way around it.

No way to deny it...

...yet no way to tell her.

She knew him in ways he didn’t know himself, despite that knowledge, he was awestruck by her instincts every time.

To everyone else on the grounds he was merely walking by, being Logan...the Wolverine. However inside he was in turmoil over his lost past and figments of memories that would not stay within his grasp. He strolled out onto the lawn, jacket over his shoulder, cigar in hand and face fixed with the same old grimace he always wore...only to be swept away.

A cocoon of warm, yet fierce winds, swooped him off the grounds, into the air and face to face with her. His Ororo...his Windrider.

He loved her..

...yet he didn’t have the words to say so.

Oooh, getting amongst the X-men fandom, hey? :)

I was actually watching the original animated series yesterday. So old. Yet Storm was hot even back then (meanwhile Jean kind of looked like a man).

You've been writing a lot lately! I envy that. Have you thought about opening a fic comm to archive it in?

LOL X-men is actually my first love before fandom came into my life. I've been following marvel since I was 7 (and I won't say how long ago that was...lol) I just don't do much writing for them or Final Fantasy (another old love)

That might not be a bad idea to make an archive community, but not sure I have enough fan to merit an archive...lol And don't worry your muse will come back, it's merely resting from finishing the epic known as POISON *hugs*

You and me both! X-men and Final Fantasy had me hooked since a good while ago. But I can never write fic for them! I think I wrote one of each, and they sucked. :P

Archive communities are great, and they don't have to be about the fans! I made mine for myself mostly, just so I don't have to dig through everything to find tidbits of fic I wouldn't post officially. ^_^

I feel the same! It's almost as if my muse won't touch those fandoms out of some weird form of respect or fear of screwing them up. lol

But I may do this archive thing just to have them in one place that is not my hard drive. Might put some original stuff on there too...who knows.

When I come aross enough irritating fic I usually haul my arse to the keyboard and type some fic, but in large fandoms like these where so much stuff rocks...I dunno, my self-esteem shrivels up. XD

I can feel your hesitation in those fandom's (I've felt it) so I tend to sit back and read.

However with this 100_men challenge and me trying not to duplicate men I am going to need to run through a lot of fandoms to do all 100 prompts.

Try clicking on my "table" tag and see if any of those prompts strike you. Kill_your_otp (another tag as well as a Comm) did wonders for me. It took me out of my comfort zone and set my muse on fire!
