Al told me I needed to get over this… over you.
It’s the reason why I’m visiting Central to begin with, to see if I can interact with you and… and her and not feel as if I want to take my wrench to you both. Pulling that gun she’s so fond of and brow beating her with it comes to mind as well.
So far mission, “Get Over Ed” has been a glaring failure.
As I watch you walk up to the counter and pick up the tray holding your order I can’t help but see you’ve only gotten better since I last saw you and that is not helping.
No, lusting after you in an open air café is not a good thing.
When you sit down and smile that smile I’ve always wanted directed at me I can’t help but wonder if you ever think you'd rather be with me instead? I wonder if you ever think of me at random times during the day or dream of me at night in a way that leaves you breathless and needy like I do?
Another officer walks up to your table and starts talking to her and when she turns away to respond the look in your eyes as you gaze at her says it all.
You don’t think about being with me, you don’t think of me at all.
As you look at her like she’s your entire world I’m fairly sure you’ve forgotten that little Rockbell girl even exists.
