I don't know what Roy did but I've never seen Ed as livid as he was when he left yesterday. It was midday when he took off and when didn't return, it didn't surprise anyone.
No one was brave enough to speak on the matter, so when he came dragging in the office this morning around ten not even Riza dared say a damn thing about his tardiness.
Paperwork hits my desk that says he's requesting to be taken off the murder case and I'm stunned.
You’ve never been an opportunist but I don't see you passing this chance up.
++Havoc++
You haven't spoken all day and it's killing me. You've sat with a scowl on your face immersed in your work silent as dawn since you arrived.
By day's end you are still working as everyone starts to leave. When I call your name, you look ready to snap my head off.
Speaking quickly, I ask you to dinner and put emphasis on the word steak and the anger leaves your eyes and you agree.
Roy steps out and calls your name… your actual name and your only response is to extend your middle finger.
Life is good right now.
++Ed++
I get fed up with him and the pretentious bastard finally acknowledges the fact I have a name other than my fucking title. I don't even look at him. I just grab my coat and flip him off on my way out.
He needs to catch me on a day where I give a damn that he needs something.
Despite my mood I'm actually glad to have Jean's company. I need to do something besides stewing in my anger anyway.
The food was great and the beer and darts even better.
Especially once I imagine Roy's face on the board.
++Roy++
I still can't believe he's that upset with me. I've teased him for years and this has never happened. It only gets worse when you show up and start ripping me a new one.
I'm confused but once I learn Ed's asked to be removed from the case I understand why.
You're going on and on about how brilliant Ed is. Irritated, I tell you Ed will cool off and your reply of, "He's more useful than you on this, so you'd better be right," hurts in a way that leaves me speechless.
I think I may go burn something.

Date: 2012-05-14 02:07 am (UTC)Gotta live Havoc scoring a win here even if it is off of Ed's low, foul mood. ^^
Roy's made his bed and now he's got to lay in it though will he stay down or rise to the occasion?
And Breda, ym master strategist, what will your next move be?
