“You are insane!”

“I beg to differ, the insane one is you.”

Ed looked back and forth between the two stunned that this, of all things, is what they choose to argue over.

“It belongs on the counter,” Roy stated firmly.

“It’s dairy, it belongs in the ice box,” Russell countered just as unmoving.

“You can’t spread it if it’s cold.”

“Well you can’t eat it if it’s gone bad.”

Back and forth they went until a transformed automail limb sliced through the object in question.

Ed put half in the icebox and left the other half on the counter.

OMG, yes! My hubby and I used to have the butter battle. (I was Roy, he was Russell.) Eventually I won, through the simple expediency of proving that we use it fast enough that it doesn't go bad there, and that it can easily sit there almost a week with the worst thing happening is, it goes soft. I never have more than a quarter pound out anyway, unless I'm planning to bake, and then I use unsalted.

LOL I am with you and Roy. We go through it so fast it doesn't have time to go bad (if it truly can to begin with...lol) I could just see Ed going O.o "This is what they call an argument?" and getting fed up with it ^_^
