He knew it made him sound like a hopeless romantic and a sap but Roy Mustang was an absolute sucker for a hug.
Especially, the way Ed and Russell doled them out.
Russell’s hugs sneak up on you. He’s beside you and the arm snakes its way around you in stages. Before you know it, you’re being held and enjoying every minute of it.
Ed’s hugs were strong, full bodied embraces that left you not know where you ended and he began.
Yes, Roy Mustang loved hugs, and if he played his cards right he’d have plenty of them forever.
