Date: 2012-01-30 02:37 am (UTC)Busy politicking on non LJ sites, working on my monster InuYasha fic (it's at 70k in rough draft, and nowhere near a stopping point), and that's most of what I've been doing. I suspect to an outsider my life looks mighty bland.
Oh, and planning my spring garden. I've got garden fever so bad and it's a month before I even dare plant seeds for transplants...LOL.

Yay Zucchini! I especially love it grilled.
I haven't fenced in years due to joint issues, but I started it in undergrad. I still LOVE to watch matches. You should give it a try, it's a ton of fun and boy it really relieves stress!
...as for #15, I accidentally left a few blank and then went back to fill them in later. I think I made some flippant comment about me being a weird fact. However, I will share a strange story that goes hand-in-hand with what kind of screwed up neighbors/neighborhood I live in: I have been the victim of heterosexual slurs while shopping at the Whole Foods.

I got my love of rock from the black lady (mom). I love other styles of music, but while I was cutting my teeth on Prince, I was also cutting them on AC/DC. Horns up! \m/

I actually identify myself as more of a baker than a cook, as that's my preference. When it comes to baking, I can pretty much do it all - breads (yeast and quick), pastry, cakes, cookies. I've been working a bit more on my cooking skills. For mom's birthday, I made her homemade cannelloni with both a marinara sauce and bechamel. It turned out wonderfully. Italian happens to be one of my favorite cuisines.

I have my ears pierced once and I have an awful tattoo that was done while both myself and the girl doing it were both drunk... it was supposed to be an ex boyfriends initials but its hardly recognizable, thats how messed up it is but that may be a good thing... 09) Worst habit?I chew on the inside of my mouth and I jiggle my legs when I get nervous... both habits seem to drive people spare but I am what I am so people have to take it or leave it!!

11) What is your favorite sport?I don't play sports but I love watching Soccer and Muggle Quidditch. Also in our house, baseball is a huge thing... my hubby is a major fan so I seem destined to watch whether I want to or not. We also religiously watch the Super Bowl and I love watching Figure skating. As far as sports go, I am a spectator only!! :D

I dabbled in church and wiccanism when I was a teen... since then I went from church to church looking for something that obviously isnt there to be found. Altho I did find a great deal of peace in AA and thru a friend in prison I went back to church but I've felt like those organizations arent very accepting of you the way you are and they can be very judgemental... in fact, I was very homophobic at one time, now look at me!! LOL
I think ridding myself of an organized or set religion in my life has made me a much better person, I'm not as judgemental and I accept people for who they are despite what society might say about it... and obviously I am not at all homophobic anymore... I've embraced that in a way that no one ever could have predicted!! LMAO!!
*blushes at the tattoo* guess you learn from stupid mistakes... at least its so mangled that no one realizes what its supposed to be which is an up side!! :D
