But I just danced with and flirted with the guys (yes three) that hurt my friend so I could get their names and numbers for the police....I feel icky an sick to my stomach even though it was for a good cause ... but it's gonna be a long day tomorrow but I will keep you updated *hugs on you all again* (and I will get to replies to all things after work tomorrow, promise!)

I know its not right to want vengeance, but its what I want so pray for my soul... my buddy had a recording contract that he missed out on because of this...I can't be forgiving right now >.< (please don't think less of me)

Vengeance, it seems to me, has varying degrees. You didn't wait out in the parking lot with a metal baseball bat for these guys and do to them what they did to Mark (even if you wanted to). You danced with these guys, flirted a little, in order to get their names and numbers, then gave that info to the police. You probably feel kind of sick and like you need multiple showers, and maybe you feel that you should have left the investigation to the police, but in my mind, you've taken a proactive step in gaining justice for Mark, and you didn't step over the line and commit violence, merely deception.

(To the assholes: Oh my, how horrible; you gave your names and numbers to some random cutie you just met, all in hopes of getting laid. Stupid boys, don't you know you should never talk to strangers? Now look what happened! Just be glad she wasn't a psychotic or sociopath who seduced y'all and took you home and chained you in her basement. So you got your asses handed to the police? Well, you should watch out whose life you choose to wreck; sometimes they have friends.)

You are not looking for vengeance. You didn't poison them, or take out a contract on them, or anything vengeful at all. You worked towards justice, getting information that the police can hopefully use to find and arrest, then eventually convict, through the justice system. You did a good thing, not a bad thing.
