While Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru battle for the usual reasons, the small fox kit wanders away from the group and into the forest.
“Baka dogs. Neither one of them want the other dead. I think they fight just to have something to do.”
“Me too!” a small voice agreed scaring the fox demon.
Shippou peeked around the tree he was standing beside and saw the little girl that usually travels with Sesshoumaru.
“You’re Rin…right?”
“Yup. What’s your name?”
“Shippou,” he answered confidently.
“You want to pick flowers with me?”
“Sure, anything beats watching them throw their swords around.”
So off the two went to pick flowers. Eventually they grew tired of picking flowers and took turns picking activities to pass the time until the brothers ceased fighting.
Soon the little green Kappa came in search of Rin. Not being able to find her he shouted, “Rin you foolish child, where are you and what are you doing?”
“I’m making love, Jaken. I’ll be done in a bit.”
Stunned out of his mind he began a desperate search for the girl but couldn’t find her.
“Rin who are you with and where are you?” he asked in a panic as he pictured his death at the hands of his beloved Lord for letting something like this take place.
“I’m with Shippou. Go away so Rin can focus!”
Beside himself, Jaken ran out of the forest and into the clearing where the brothers fought. All action stilled once they all heard what Jaken had to say. Fight forgotten everyone runs in search of the kids, each person trying to figure out where they had gone wrong in their supervision of the two.
Sesshoumaru was the first to find them…what he saw left him speechless.
There in an alcove...
Sat Rin and Shippou…
Surrounded by scraps of paper?
Rin swiftly ran up to her beloved Sesshoumaru-sama and held out a lopsided heart she had cut out of colorful paper given to her by Shippou.
“What’s wrong with you guys?” asked Shippou, “From the way you were running I thought the forest might be on fire.”
“Well you see that little piece of shit green guy said…” Inuyasha started only to be silenced by an elbow to the side from Sango.
Blushing furiously but relieved all the same Kagome said, “You did a wonderful job on that Rin.”
“Thank you, I tried to make this the best love ever for Lord Sesshoumaru.”

LOL thanks for reading guys this came to me as I thought of all the mix ups that happen due to the lack of understanding of Kagome’s time and how things work and what means what.
