What Do You Have To Say? - Writing: Makes Me A Better Writer

I would have to say the largest influence on my writing has been the discovery of fanfiction and writing communities. That may sound a little odd but it’s the truth. The numerous fanfiction readers and writers have helped me in many ways. Within the fanfiction and writing communities I belong to I have found support from other aspiring writers and advice from some of the most avid readers of genre I like to write. It is comforting to realize there are others out there that face the same obstacles and want to accomplish the same goals.

I don’t think I even have to go into how helpful it is to have hundreds and sometimes thousands of different people read the same written piece then critique and comment on it. That is worth it’s keystrokes in gold.
