I think it will be great but don't know how readers will respond to Ed being the one to pseudo rescue Roy. In most fics Roy is the "strong" one and this will be a role reversal of sorts.
I was watching the scene where Ed was kicking Scars ass and wondered... how in the hell did I forget how fucking vicious Ed can be? Dude is just WAY dangerous. Between the alchemy and him being a highly skilled fighter Ed can be lethal. That also prompted the Bar Fight 100 word drabble for my OT3... that scene and me thinking on the fight between him and Russell. Neither one of them are pansies or pushovers (no matter how many times I write them taking it up the arse...lol) but in fanfic more often than not Ed is the one is distress so I wanted to try my hand at flipping that all while tackling the glorious insanity that is Kimblee
I am also working on an Evil maes fic... but that's another story...
