So I'm Doing Things

So things aren't feeling as weird as I thought they would here. Sure my Friends Page is a bit slow but it is to be expected.

I dropped some Inuyasha fanfic in my Lj and some FMA fanfic over at fma_fic_contest

Not so bad. A slow start beat the dead standstill I was at so YAY ME!!

Life is dribbling along my anxiety is still my anxiety but it doesn't have absolute reign over me any more and I can mesh with that. Work is still just a boon for me I'm just not happy there even as I admit it isn't a horrible place to work it's just when it come to key factors for me they fail on those fronts in the same grand fashion a fish fails to climb a tree. My foot is still on the mend even if it sends electric fire like jolts through my toes and the incision at times. Could do without that but it's all part of the healing process I suppose.

Is anyone active in any fic comms on here any more? Any new ones? Are my INUand FMA peeps still around and about here or has everyone moved fic dropping to AO3? Speaking of AO3 feel free to leave your AO3 link in a comment I think I'm missing several people on my watch list over there.

I would love to have a comm to be active in since I'm actually writing again! They were one of my favorite parts of being on LJ.

I concur I'd love an active Comm too but i"m not sure there's enough life in Lj... especial in old fandoms to keep a Comm alive. Maybe if the Comm was "all encompassing" but that still may be a stretch. The new powerhouse fandoms SPN, StarWars, Etc. probably want little to do with the Anime lovers crew.

This FMA peep is still hanging around, tho for what I don't know some days. :) Very little happens around here anymore. Most days the only activity I see for ficcage is on the fma_fic_contest comm. :( I miss the good old days when there was more ficcage to read than I had hours to spend reading! :D

I know what you mean. I remember a time when there was so much to read I could be on here for hours and still not get caught up.

I few people are resurfacing so maybe that will eventually result in more ficcage *HUGS*

I stopped posting on the comms when it seemed like I was the only one posting fic there anymore. I still post my fic to LJ and dw along with Ao3 but I don't bother to crosspost to the comms.

I can understand even if I do miss the cross-posting. It was always so much fun even if it was just a bunch of us Yaoi fanatics most of the time ^_^

I put out the question a while back to see if anyone was still using the comms to keep up with new fic or art and didn't really get much of a positive response. I'm honestly considering no longer posted fan stuff to LJ/DW at all, it's just an extra hassle with little-to-no return.

It's good to hear your foot is mending even if it is unpleasant.

The only comms I know about that are active are SPN ones and that is only because Lisa tells me these things.

I'm here!! I just never manage to finish anything, that's all....-_- Though I will admit that over the last few years I have slacked a bit on the crossposting to comms. I will be better about it!

Also, celebrate_fma is still alive and being modded (badly as I suck as a mod, but hey lol), though we don't have many submissions at present.
