As he packed away the red, green and gold that’s been a part of his life for so long. Once something that meant it was time to fly high beside his parents it evolved into his crime-fighting gear alongside the Batman.

Then he wore it as the leader of the Titans. In charge yet still held back. They had their own ideals but he knew sometimes you had to blur the lines to do what needed to be done.

He wanted to move away from that. As he shut the lid on his past he smiled. He was Nightwing now.
