I actually played FF4 for the first time when I was 17. XD I bought a SNES and a used cartridge of what was called Final Fantasy II the summer before I moved to college. It was my first FF and has forever been my love since then.
Admittedly, I've never been much of a Rydia/Edge fan. For some reason, I really shipped Rydia/Kain for a long time, but these days I don't really have one particular OTP from the series. (I'm overly fond of Kain/Edward, for some reason, though. XD) I wouldn't be terribly upset if Rydia and Edge got married, but my screen name is Rydia Highwind, so I might have to complain just on principle.... ;)
