“You can come out now they are all sound asleep.”

“I am aware of this.”

“Then why are you still hiding.”

“Why did you not call out to me until they were sleep?”

“I…I…”

“Do not trouble yourself. I am leaving. Take this so I can be on my way.”

“What is it?”

“I think it should be obvious.”

“But why?”

“Do you not wish to accept it?”

“No it’s not that it’s just…”

“Well then take it so I can be on my way.”

“Thank you, but what…damn he moves fast.”

“What have you got there Inu-san?”

“I’m not sure Sango.”

“It appears to be a leather band of some sort.”

“What do you do when we sleep? Treasure hunt?”

“Shut your yap kid!”

“No he has a point my friend. Didn’t you come across a new obi a while back?”

“Yes Miroku is correct Inu-san and before that didn’t you find some parchment?”

“So what if I did?”

“Well to me it seems like…”

“Kagome-chan lets take Shippou to the spring before the guys muck up the water.”

“Ok Sango, come Shippou!”

“As I was saying to me it seems like someone’s trying to tell you something, that or this is quite the coincidence.” 

“What are you getting at Houshi?”

“The paper, the cotton and now leather…sounds like courting gifts to me.”
